Frontend Clojure Developer
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to build our patent search application. If you enjoy creating great user interfaces and are curious about functional programming, this could be for you.
IPRally is an AI company that makes patent search fast and accurate. Before launching any new product or technology, companies need to know what has already been invented. This search through millions of patents is crucial but incredibly time-consuming when done manually. We're changing that. Our AI-powered platform delivers unmatched search accuracy, helping companies make confident decisions about their innovations. We're trusted by leading global innovators, including Google, Unilever, and Bosch.
As a member of our team, you will shape how patent professionals use our search technology. Great search results are only valuable when they're easy to work with - that's where you come in. You'll focus on front-end development, creating intuitive interfaces that make patent work efficient and enjoyable. You'll be joining our product team of 6 engineers and 3 designers, where you'll help define how professionals interact with patents in ways that weren't possible before. We're a growing company of about 50 people, with our technical team of 20 engineers distributed across Helsinki and various European locations.
You ideally have experience with ClojureScript, although previous work with React is also a good foundation for working with our stack. More than any specific technology, we believe that general software engineering skills matter the most. We're looking for someone who has experience with complex projects and values software quality, including comprehensive testing. Our software philosophy aligns with that of Rich Hickey, creator of Clojure: we believe in the power of simplicity. In our complex domain of patent search and AI, maintaining this simplicity in our solutions is both crucial and challenging.
